Here's a mantra that I try to live by nowadays. Handwriting and photo by me. :)

We're down to the last two months of the year! Aaahhh!!

I thought I'd reflect on my current state of mind to help me finish this year strong!

I am slightly panicking about all the things I need to do before the year ends. I have 2 papers to write for my two classes this semester and a terminal report that needs to be done before November 19. I also have an upcoming cruise in December, and while this one is different from the last ones I joined, I still feel like I need to mentally prepare for it.

I also noticed that my worries are becoming too powerful. I had a difficult week last week. In hindsight, it was all because I couldn't manage my anxious thoughts. It was the first time in a long time that I felt that way. While it was hard emotionally (and sadly physically), right now I surprisingly feel some relief that I lived through that experience. I now have another moment of grit under my belt, and when I encounter another challenge in any area of my life (and there's a 100% chance of that happening), I will remind myself of that time and the things I did that helped me, and that actually, days do get better, everything is going to be okay.
